These terms and conditions govern your use of this website; by using this website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this website. 

According to UK Government law, the minimum age limit for the purchase of knives or any other kind of product with blades is 18 years. Therefore, the person that places an order on this website AND the person that receives and uses products ordered on this website must be at least 18 years old. By using this website, you comply and agree to these terms and conditions and you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

If you place an order of a bladed product without being 18 years or older, your order will be blocked by our system, and we will request you to send us a copy of your photo ID. If your ID proves that you are not at least 18 years old or if you don't answer to our request, we will proceed to cancel your order and refund your payment.

Shipping 

The stock of all the products available at MyChefKnives.co.uk is kept at the company's warehouse in Nice, France. The products that are available in our warehouse are marked on our website as "In stock", and the ones that are not currently available in our warehouse are marked as "Shipped in X days" [the amount of days depends on the time that our suppliers take to send us new stock].

The shipping costs and times depend on the carrier that you select when placing an order on our website. For more information click here.

Returns and refunds

If you place an order at MyChefKnives.co.uk, you have up to 60 days to return your product if you are not satisfied with it. If the product meets all the conditions mentioned in our Money Back Guarantee page, you can contact us at hello@mychefknives.co.uk so that we can give you all the instructions to return us the product. 

Product warranties and defective products

All the product warranties announced on our website are manufacturer's warranties. This means that the warranty covers only defaults caused by a manufacturing default. Any damage or default caused by the usage of the product is not covered by the warranty, and thus, no refund or replacement is possible.

If your product became defective after being used, but you believe that its default falls within the manufacturer's warranty, you can send us an email to hello@mychefknives.co.uk with your order number, an explanation of the default, and photos of the defective product. After receiving your email, we will get in contact with the manufacturer, who will examine the photos and determine if a refund or an exchange is applicable or not. 

If you received a product that is damaged or in bad conditions before you even start using it, you can contact us by sending an email to hello@mychefknives.co.uk with your order number, pictures of the damage, and an explanation of the default. We will examine the photos - and contact the supplier if necessary - before we can proceed to send you a replacement or issue a refund.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.

Prices are as detailed on this website include VAT at the current rate. The Company reserves the right to amend prices at any time. No payment shall be deemed to have been received, until the Company has received cleared funds.
