More info
The Totally Bamboo GreenLite Pizza Peel is a multi-functional accessory. It can be used for sliding pizzas and pies in and out of the oven. You can use this shovel as a pizza cutting board, and also as a serving board. You don't need any other plates during the whole process because this board will serve you at all levels, from the preparation stage (preparing the dough, layering and shoving) to the serving stage.
Strong and durable, this pizza peel is made of bamboo. A major advantage of using bamboo in pizza paddles is that they have a lower ecological footprint when compared to other types of woods (eg. maple wood ). In addition, the soft surface of this Totally Bamboo peel doesn't damage the blades of your kitchen knives or pizza cutters.
The most important aspect of this shovel is its design. It has an ergonomically designed bevelled edge, which will make it easy for you to roll the pizza in and out of the oven without disturbing the crust. Moreover, this peel feels very light in your hand thanks to its excellent weight distribution. The handle also comes with an eyelet that can be used for hanging the board on the wall.
Made in the USA, the bamboo board has the following dimensions: 45 x 33 cm. This size is perfect to prepare an ideal size of a pizza. The warm colour and unique veins on the board is a treat for the eyes. Therefore, this accessory easily blends into all kinds of kitchens. Finally, once you are done having delicious pizzas with your friends and family you can pass the peel into the dishwasher for a quick wash.
