Make your meal preparations much easier with this Benriner Mandoline Slicer. This professional kitchen accessory is ideal for slicing with great ease and efficiently fruits and vegetables such as cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, and much more!
This mandoline slicer is adapted to both professional and domestic use. It comes with 3 interchangeable blades made of stainless steel. They are strong, resistant to corrosion, and of course, they are very, very sharp (be careful with your fingers!).
Changing the blades is not complicated at all. You simply need to remove the screws on each side of the mandoline and the blade will fall, thus giving you the space to put in the new one. For any of the blades, the cutting surface of the mandoline is always 9.5cm. In addition, you can also adjust the thickness of your cuts thanks to the scroll wheel under the mandoline.
Moreover, this mandoline includes two additional parts that will make its usage much easier and more convenient:
- Food holder: small plastic device that is used to hold your food while gliding it across the cutting surface. This not only makes the process much easier but it also protects your fingers as they won't have to get in touch with cutting surface.
- Food catcher: also made of plastic, this is part serves as a base for your mandoline. Its function is to "catch" all the ingredients that you slice with the mandoline. This way, you wont have to gather the pieces from your cutting board or worktop as all with be well kept inside this container.
Finally, the body of this mandoline slicer is made of beige ABS that imitates raw wood. Besides its original aesthetic look, the ABS is durable and resistant material that is easy to maintain. The large handle at the end of the mandoline helps you have a good grip while using the accessory. In addition, when you don't use it anymore, the handle can also serve to hang the mandoline anywhere on your kitchen's wall.
