This Taidea 2-stage knife sharpener is a must-have in every kitchen. Its design has been elaborated to offer you the most comfortable and best grip. The sharpener has a prolonged and perfect soft-touch steel surface which ensures optimum comfort during usage. It is equipped with 2 different slots with two different sharpening stages: diamond and ceramic.
The diamond slot is accustomed to sharpen blunt blades.Simply pass the blade 2-3 times from the base through to the tip in this slot. We advise you to repeat this process every 6 months or better still, when necessary on blunt blades.
The ceramic slot is where the finishing of the blade’s edge is done. This stage enhances the removal of the steel micro wastes which are generated by the first stage of sharpening. However, it is important to understand that it is a normal process for the ceramic wheel to fade over time.
This manual sharpener is very easy and safe to use even if you are not a professional cook. In addition, the sharpener has a non-slip base that prevents the movement of the sharpener during the sharpening process.
