More info

The Premier Tim Mälzer Bread Knife 23cm is manufactured in the Japanese city of Seki by the well-known brand KAI. This series of knives was inspired and designed by the famous German TV Chef : Tim Mälzer.

We can say that this knife is a piece of art in your kitchen : its elegant design shows how high is the Japanese expertise. It's serrated edge is perfect to cut all types of bread, regardless of the thickness of their crusts.

Its blade is exceptional : it is the perfect combination between the damascus and the hammered technology.Indeed, it is made of 32 layers of stainlessdamask steelthat are embellished with Japanese hand-hammered surface calledTsuchime. This process is what gives the blade its original and wavy look. The core of the blade is made of VG10 steel that has been hardened to 61 degrees in the Rockwell scale.

In addition, the design of this knife is improved by its handle made of walnut wood. This material gives the knife an attractive rustic look, far from the one of modern cutlery tool. Moreover, the handle has a symmetrical design that is perfectly suitable for both left and right-handed cooks.

So, if you're a professional cook, or a hobby cook that loves to prepare dishes for family or friends, don't hesitate and choose your favourite knife among the Kai Shun Premier Tim Malzer series !
