The Tsubaki or Camellia oil from Japan Kanetsune is perfect for the proper maintenance of all your steel kitchen knives. This oil is used to protect the blades from tarnish and rust. Therefore, using this oil guarantees a longer lifetime to all your knives.

This oil comes from the extract of Japanese Camellia seeds, and that is what explains why sometimes it is known as Camellia oil instead of Tsubaki oil. It comes in small bottle with content of 100 milliliters.

Using this oil is super easy! You just need to add some drops of oil to a clean cloth such as the chamois leather from Japan Kanetsune, and then you just wipe the blade with the cloth. Before using the knife again, just make sure to wash the knife with running cold water to make sure that there is no trace of oil left on the blade.
