More info

The Kanetsugu Rev 21 utility knife 13cm is a must-have for your knife collection. This polyvalent kitchen knife can be very useful in the preparation of all types of recipes. It is ideal for cutting fruits and vegetables, and thanks to its micro-serrated blade, it is perfect for slicing tomatoes.

Another perk of the micro-serrated edge of this knife's blade is that it remains sharp five times longer than a standard type of edge. Because the serrations are only on one side of the blade, you can easily sharpen the blade on the plain side of the edge by using a steel or a whetstone.

The blade is made molybdenum steel, which is resistant to corrosion, and that is something highly appreciated in the culinary world. Furthermore, the steel has a hardness level  of 57 HRC in the Rockwell scale, which is why the blade is so easy to sharpen and maintain.

Its handle is made of reinforced laminated wood in black colour. This material is lightweight and easy to maintain, and its surface feels good in your hand. The handle also has two rivets that are connected to a half tang that runs inside the handle's structure. Last but not least, its design design is suitable for both right and left handed cooks.

We recommend your to wash it only by hand and dry it immediately. Then, it is important to always store it in a safe and dry place.

All Kanetsugu kitchen knives are made in Seki, which is known for being one of Japan'es main capitals for the manufacturing of knives. Kanetsugu has been manufacturing kitchen knives of excellent quality for over a century, and it is thanks to its vast expertise that this Japanese brand succeeds at meeting the expectations of passionate cooks.

This utility knife is part of the Rev21 range, which offers several types of kitchen knives at truly affordable prices. For those who wish to test a truly Japanese knife without having to spend a fortune, the Kanetsugu Rev 21 kitchen knives are certainly a great option.
